Dr. David Krause completes Marquette alumni trifecta
Over the past three weeks, AIM program director, Dr. David Krause, has attended three Marquette University alumni events (see previous blog entries). The 'trifecta' was completed last evening in Chicago as Dr. Krause presented at the Circles event (along with Tom Digenan) before a group of over 50 Marquette alumni. The topic of their presentation was identifying investment opportunities in the volatility financial markets. Additionally, before Krause's presentation four AIM students pitched their stocks before a group of nearly 20 guests.
Last week Dr. Krause attended the Boston Circles event and presented (along with Solomon Owayda) to a group of over 20 guests on the topic of alternative investments. The previous week Dr. Krause and 22 Marquette finance students visited New York City and attended a Marquette alumni gathering that included nearly fifty guests.
Dr. Krause said, "It was a whirlwind tour - I feel like an aging rock star that has to figure out what city you're waking up in.... but it was worth it. It was great to see so many Marquette alumni succeeding in the world of finance. I know that the students that attended these events with me sensed the pride our alumni have about Marquette. While it's good to be off the road, I look forward to doing more alumni events in 2012."
