Daniel Fernandez, a student in Marquette's AIM Class of 2016, took home the big prize at the 40th Annual
Milwaukee Tennis Classic on Sunday at The Town Club in Fox Point.
He’s the
first Marquette student athlete to win the championship. The Marquette
University senior beat the University of Wisconsin's Alexander Kokorev, 6-2,
6-4, to claim the men's singles championship.
