Kickoff Meeting was Held for the Wisconsin CFA Institute Research Challenge (Hosted by the CFA Society Madison & CFA Society Milwaukee)

Dr. David Krause, Marquette’s AIM Program director, and the AIM students representing Marquette attended the CFA Institute Research Challenge Local Kickoff meeting this week

Dr. Krause, faculty mentor of the Marquette CFA teams said, “This is our 11^th year of participating in the CFA Challenge and we are excited to have this year's competition underway. We appreciate the efforts of the two Wisconsin CFA societies in sponsoring the event. This is always one of the highlights of our school year and we look forward to this year's event."

Each Research Challenge season leverages the efforts of over 140 CFA member societies, 3,500 member volunteers, and more than 5,000 students from over 1,000 universities. 

Following a drawing by the participating Wisconsin universities, here is the list of schools that will be participating in the CFA Society Madison Local Challenge. The subject company this year is Duluth Trading Company (DLTH):  

• Marquette University - Gold Team & Blue Team
• UW-Eau Claire
• UW-Milwaukee
• Carthage 

The Duluth Trading Company student meeting is to be held on Thursday, December 13^th. From  9-10:00 am the students will visit the company store at 100 W Main Street, Mt. Horeb – and from 10-noon the company presentation will be held at 201 E Front Street, Mt. Horeb.
