Five AIM Student Presented at Mason Street Advisors on Friday, October 28th

On the afternoon of Friday, October 28th, five AIM students pitched their equity recommendations to the investment professionals at Mason Street Advisors (a Northwestern Mutual Company) in downtown Milwaukee.

The ‘road show’ was attended by 16 MSA equity and fixed income analysts and portfolio managers. Dr. David Krause, AIM program director, said "The students did a fine job. The professionals at Mason Street asked challenging questions and also provided their insights to the students about who to improve their analyses. This is the type of applied learning environment we seek with the road show - we want to get into the real-world where our students can learn directly from the experts. It was an excellent experience - and we look forward to visiting Mason Street again next year."

Copies of these write-ups  are available at:  http://eepurl.com/gGZWn and all stock recommendations since the inception of the AIM program in 2005 on the AIM web site at: http://business.marquette.edu/centers-and-programs/aimp-student-equity-write-ups

The AIM program would like to especially thank Christi Kubiak for arranging the event – which is the second Mason Street Advisors ‘road show’ and the 6th this semester.  There are still 4 AIM program presentations scheduled this semester – including events in Chicago, Madison, Milwaukee, and in the AIM Room. Details will be posted on this blog - or you can contact Lee Hovorka at lee.hovorka@marquette.edu to be included on the distribution list.
