The Applied Investment Management (AIM) Program at Marquette University began managing international equity in September 2008. The AIM International Equity Fund is benchmarked to the S&P ADR Index (SPADR). The AIM students are allowed to hold American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) and global shares that are traded on major U.S. equity exchanges.
As of the end of 2008, the International AIM Fund has added 15 stocks - in addition to 3 international ETS. It is expected that by the end of the spring 2009 semester that the fund will be fully loaded with international equity securities recommended by the AIM students.
