AIM students to attend Fed Challenge event on Friday, November 4th

Heather Kohls, Director of Global Business Learning and an Adjunct Associate Professor of Economics at Marquette University is working with this year’s Fed Challenge team. On Friday, November 3, the AIM students were invited by Dr. Kohls to attend Marquette University’s Fed Challenge team presentation.

The Fed Challenge is an academic competition in which a team of four to six students play the role of economic advisors and policymakers and recommend policy actions. All universities are allowed to enter a single team a year. The competition begins at a regional level and consists of a 20 minute presentation followed by a question and answer session. Teams are judged by private sector, academic and Federal Reserve economists.

Dr. David Krause, AIM program director said, "We're pleased for the opportunity to watch the economics' students present their economic outlook and answer questions about current monetary policy. For once it will be fun for the AIM students to be watching other students, rather than giving their own presentations. We're looking forward to the event."
