Guido van Hauwermeiren
Guido van Hauwermeiren
Previously, at BNP Paribas and Cetelem, he started consumer finance businesses and retail banking operations in China, Russia, Algeria, Vietnam, Ukraine, and Turkey. His ability to understand different cultures and bring out the best in people through mentoring and encouragement has been his key to success.

Mr. van Hauwermeiren has advanced to Senior Management in International Banking at Societe Generale and has garnered a reputation as a Land Rover that can drive down results in any terrain by listening well. You will see that he is an outstanding communicator - listening to his colleagues and clients. Throughout his career he has delivered positive results and increased his firms' business growth, which has resulted in the opportunity to serve on multiple boards of directors. He currently sits on 4 boards within the public and private sector.

The banking industry, especially in investment, as well as almost every other industry from Finance to automotive, will continue to change as the world is becoming smaller with more business interaction between countries and cultures. Having been on different Boards in Europe, Asia and the United States he has a proven international business track record.

You will enjoy hearing about his multicultural background, dedication to client satisfaction, and tenacity to provide results in challenging economic situations. We are truly appreciative of his support of Marquette University, College of Business, and the AIM program. Join us on Friday.
