Dick Kinney of Legacy Wealth Management Visits AIM on December 2

On Thursday, December 2, Dick Kinney, Managing Principal of Legacy Wealth Management visits the AIM Room to meet with Dr. Krause and various AIM students. Legacy Wealth Management is a Registered Investment Advisor that provides investment advisory services to private wealth, institutions, trusts, and retirement/benefit plans. The firm was founded in 2003 and is located in Milwaukee.

Mr. Kinney is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary as certified by the Center for Fiduciary Studies located at the Joseph Katz Graduate School of Business housed at the University of Pittsburgh. He has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry with large brokerage firms. He is currently a trustee at Gallaudet University and chair of the Financial and Institutional Affairs committee where he leads the endowment committee responsible for overseeing the University’s endowment. Mr. Kinney holds the following certifications: Series 7(General Securities), Series 6(Investment Company/Variable Contracts), Series 24(General Securities Principal), Series 63(State Law), Series 65(Investment Adviser Representative). He attended the Advanced Endowment Institute at the Yale School of Management.

He has extensive experience in the world of investments and has some very interesting viewpoints about socially responsible investing and non-profit investment management.
