investment conference. We are thankful to Scott Schroeder
and everyone at Balyasny for sponsoring us. Attending events such as this

of our experiential learning process.”
The format of the Invest for
Kids Conference is a half-day event features ten very well-known money managers
and investment professionals who each speak for 15 minutes on their market
views and best investment ideas. 100% of
the ticket proceeds go to support organizations serving underprivileged
children in Chicago. Last year nearly
1,200 people attended the Conference and raised over $1.6 million for
organizations focused on education, health and wellness, after school programming
and mentoring.
Dr. Krause said, “Balyasny has
again graciously sponsored a group of Marquette students to attend the
conference. We know it is a great opportunity to gain exposure to well know
money managers and the investment community (not to mention a networking
reception) – it really is a great opportunity for our students.”
