AIM Class of 2011 Fixed Income Fund Performance Presentation Scheduled for Wednesday, May 4

On Wednesday, May 4, the student-managers in the AIM Class of 2011 will be presenting to a group of fixed income professionals and Marquette alumni the performance of the AIM Fixed Income Fund.

At 11 am in the AIM Room, the AIM students will present their experiences regarding the past year that they served as managers of the AIM Fixed Income Fund. The AIM annual report will be published on Friday and be made available on-line at the AIM web site.

The students in the AIM Class of 2011 began managing the AIM Funds on April 1, 2010 and their 12-month holding period ended on March 31, 2011. During that time the students actively managed nearly $2 million of Marquette University's endowment funds.

Tomorrow at 11 am in the AIM Room, the AIM students in the Class of 2011 will cover the major elements of the AIM Fixed Income Fund, including a discussion of the investment policy statement, strategy, and investment process they followed.

They will present the 12-month and trailing performance of the Fixed Income Fund (including an attribution analysis and a discussion of the largest winning and detracting investments during the holding period). The AIM Fixed Income Fund had another successful year - and the following graph is an example of the type of reports that are contained and discussed in the annual report.
