Dr. David Krause, AIM program director stated, “The visit to
Blair was impressive. The students had the opportunity hear from professionals in
the investment banking, sales & trading, wealth management, investment
management and research functions. All of the speakers were excellent and the
students asked good questions. I know they came away impressed with the
organization and people that work at William Blair & Company. It was a full
morning and we appreciate the opportunity to visit and learn about the
functioning of a major investment bank.”
Aon Hewitt Investment Consulting |
The students had the opportunity to spend their lunch hour
in the Loop and then make their way to the Aon Building for the afternoon
session. They visited Aon Hewitt Investment Consulting (AHIC), which is division

Bill Walker and Jeff Germanotta in Chicago with students |
Dr. Krause added, “We have had a good number of our AIM and
Marquette finance students begin their investment careers with Aon Hewitt in
Chicago. Our relationship will become stronger as a result of this visit. They
organized an excellent session for our students that included a panel of recent
college graduates. I know that this was important for our students – as they asked
many good questions about what it was like to begin their careers with Aon
Hewitt. The opportunity to hear directly from recent graduates was important
and I believe Aon provides an excellent opportunity for our students.”
