The annual fall trip to R.W. Baird will include 40 AIM students
in the Classes of 2019 and 2020
Dr. David Krause, Director of Marquette’s Applied Investment
Management program, will again be taking his students to visit Milwaukee-based investment
bank, R.W. Baird.
The students will have an opportunity to hear from Baird personnel
about the firm’s investment banking and research functions. Baird also operates
in wealth management, fixed income, public finance, private capital, and asset
management. Approaching 100 years in business, Baird has been a strong, stable
and trusted financial institution across many market cycles.
Baird serves individuals, families, businesses and communities
across the United States as well as institutional clients around the globe from
more than 100 offices on three continents. The firm has reported that as of
12/31/2017, they are accountable for over $200 billion of financial assets.
Prior to a networking event, four AIM students will have an
opportunity to pitch their equity recommendations to students and Baird
