On
Tuesday in the AIM Room, John met with David Krause, Matteo Arena and Joseph
Wall to talk about Marquette’s finance programs. The group shared ideas about
the future of finance – with the discussion focusing heavily on FinTech, data
analytics, artificial intelligent and other trends in the asset management and
investment banking industry.
Dr. Krause, AIM program director, stated "It was again to host John in the AIM Room. Matteo Arena and Joe Wall were able to also spend time with John - along with AIM students. We had an excellent conversation about the trends in the finance industry and what we are doing at Marquette to provide students with the tools they need to be competitive in the job market. As expected, John supported our view that things have changed a lot since the Financial Crisis and that today's finance and accounting students need to have more programming and data analysis skills."
