Congratulations to Dr. George Cashman: Marquette Faculty All-Star at November 6th Marquette Basketball Game

George Cashman, Associate Professor of Finance, will be recognized at the Marquette men’s basketball game on Tuesday, November 6^th vs. UMBC as the Marquette Faculty All-Star.  

Athletics partner West Bend is donating $500 to the College of Business Administration on behalf of Dr. Cashman. Please join us in celebrating George’s spotlight at the game!

Associate Professor of Finance, Dr. Cashman joined the Finance Department at Marquette in the fall of 2015. 

Dr. George Cashman

Before this he spent eight years as an Assistant Professor at Texas Tech University. His research interests include organizational and contract design, mutual fund investor behavior, boards of directors, and the effects of information within marketplaces. 

George’s research has been published in the Journal of Banking and Finance, the Journal of Corporate Finance, the Journal of Financial Markets, the Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics, the Financial Review, Advances in Financial Economics, and the Journal of Economics and Finance.
