Marquette 2021 O-Fest Success!

Marquette’s O-Fest Offers Students Opportunities to Engage with Campus Student Organizations

The first Wednesday of the fall semester, Marquette’s Office of Engagement and Inclusion sponsors O-Fest and this year it was in person on Central Mall.  O-Fest offers students the opportunity to explore Marquette’s student organizations by talking to organization representatives and signing up for organizations of interest. In addition, there will be several university offices and departments present to share information about various programs and services available to students at the university. This allows first and second year students, specifically, the opportunity to seek out all that student organizations and departments have to offer.

The Applied Investment Management Program (AIM), Financial Management Association (FMA) and the Investment Club participated in O-Fest and had a tremendous turn-out of interest, sparking over 150 students that signed up. This is a great way to showcase what finance majors can get involved in.

Kudos to the AIM students that helped man the three-hour event.
